The KS series from Masamoto is a collection of premium Japanese knives made from Swedish stainless steel, designed in a traditional Japanese style. The Wa-Gyuto knife in the KS series is meticulously hand-sharpened, polished, and finished by highly skilled craftsmen with extensive experience. The result is an exceptionally sharp edge and a simple yet elegant finish.
The blade in the KS series knives is crafted from Swedish stainless steel with a hardness of HRC 60-61.
NOTE: The knife has a thin layer of lacquer on the blade. This makes the knife appear scratched. This lacquer layer can easily be removed with acetone, after which the blade will be smooth and free of micro-scratches.
