Masashi Yamamoto is a highly regarded blacksmith from Sanjo, Japan. His knives are hand forged and the quality is top level. The spine has nice tapering which gives the blade great balance and strength, and the edges are thin and razor sharp.
Note: Carbon steel is not stainless! Be sure to wipe the blade dry immediately after use to avoid rusting of the blade.
