Munetoshi forges his carbon steel knives entirely by hand, primarily using shirogami #2 steel. In addition to knives, he also crafts garden axes and sickles. His philosophy is centered on creating tools that are meant to be used, focusing on producing blades that cut excellently and are durable. As a result, he spends less time on the finish, so you can expect a product that has a raw appearance but performs exceptionally well.
Note: The core and the outer layer are not stainless. Be sure to thoroughly dry the edge after use.
