Gyuto
Japanese Chef's knife with a 232 mm long blade made of the stainless powder steel SG2 (62-63 HRC), which is a premium steel.
The knife is entirely handcrafted by Hanake-san, a true master. The blade features a spectacular damascus design polished to a mirror finish. The sharpening is incredibly meticulous and employs the technically complex hamaguri grind. This means that the hand-forged blade has a convex grind, providing unparalleled cutting ability.
The handle has an octagonal shape and is made of red sandalwood with a bolster in black buffalo horn.
