Yoshikane is undoubtedly one of the most impressive makes of hand made japanese knives. The Yoshikane factory resides in Sanjo in Japan, led by Kazuomi Yamamoto who is the successor of Tsuneo Yoshida. These knives are handmade from shirogami#2 which is a pure carbon steel.
