Munetoshi knives are forged completely by hand and the preferred steel is shirogami #2 steel. In addition to knives, he also manufactures garden axes and sickels. His philosophy is that the tool should be put to good use and he therefor puts his focus on creating blades that cut well and that are durable. He spends less time on fit and finish. When buying a Munetoshi knife you can expect a product that is raw and rustic in appearance but with cutting performance that level up with high end knives. All Munetoshi knives are delivered amazingly sharp.
