Yuzou Tani makes wonderful blades out of his small workshop in Sakai. He hand forges all blades by hand and he even laminates the steel by hand. This knife has the montanren pattern which is as beautiful as it is timeconsuming. The steel is Aogami#2 with iron clad ni-mai. It is not stainless and should be kept dry at all times.

The handle is okto shaped with bolster in buffalo horn.
