In this package, we’ve gathered stones from Shapton’s three lineups:
PRO, Rockstar, and Glass.

• 1 pcs coarse whetstone with grit #320 from Shapton Rockstar. This stone repairs chips in the edge and is also suitable for thinning an edge.
• 1 pcs medium whetstone with grit #1500 from Shapton PRO (Kuromaku). This stone removes just the right amount of metal for normal sharpening and leaves a medium-fine cutting edge.
• 1 pcs fine whetstone with grit #4000 from Shapton Glass. This stone leaves a very polished finish, resulting in an extremely sharp edge.

Shapton’s whetstones are considered by many to be the best on the market. They efficiently remove metal and are extremely hard, meaning they wear down slowly. The stones require minimal water and are of the "splash & go" type, meaning you don’t soak them before use. Instead, you pour a handful of water onto the stone and start sharpening immediately.

Care Instructions:

1. Rinse the stone in cold water after use. Never use detergent or warm water.
2. Dry the stone with a lint-free cloth and then let it air-dry at room temperature (Do not dry it in direct sunlight or with a hairdryer).
3. Allow the stone’s ceramic surface to face upward while drying, and never store it in contact with another stone.
4. Store the stone at room temperature.
