The sink bridge "Big Rig" offers the ultimate comfort while sharpening. You can of course use the sink bridge or stone holder individually, but there are benefits to combining them:

1. The rig is elevated which is nice for those of us who are taller.

2. You eliminate the risk for hitting your fingers against the set screws of the sink bridge, especially if you use slimmer stones like Shapton.

3. When turning the holder with the set screw toward you, you receive a slight downward angle which follows your natural movement while sharpening. If you are looking for horizontal sharpening, simply unscrew the set screws on the holder.

A sink bridge is a 'must have' for many knife sharpeners. Its both convenient and practical since fresh water keeps coarse slurry away from the finer stones. 

It comes fully adjustable to fit all stones, and kitchen sinks up to 454 mm deep. For the super rig you need atleast a 340 mm long sink.

The sink bridge works just as well on a flat surface. Like a regular stone holder, only a bit longer...

Note; The set screws of the stone holder has low corrosion resistance. We recommend that you unscrew them after use, wipe dry and coat with oil.
