Nakayama Natural Sharpening Stone

This Nakayama natural stone features stunning red, brown, and orange tones. It is a hard stone that produces a high-gloss edge with excellent bite. Additionally, it is well-suited for kasumi polishing, providing a sharp contrast between jigane and hagane.

On a kiridashi with an iron clad, the finish becomes silky matte, with minimal scratching. When water touches the stone, it releases a wonderful earthy and cellar-like aroma.
