Camellia oil is considered by many to be the best oil for maintaining knives and swords. The oil is made in Japan and comes in a small container with a cloth applicator. Apply a thin layer to the blade and wipe off if necessary. When the oil runs out, you can open the container in the middle and refill it with more oil.

The oil effectively protects against moisture while also helping to dissolve any corrosion.

Comparison between our two different oils:
You get significantly more oil in the larger container, model KR-240, but the spray nozzle tends to clog over time and may become difficult to use if not cleaned regularly.
Application is easier with the brown container, model TSU-AP.
