Gestura | Chef´s spoon
Kategori

The Gestura Spoon is constructed with the volume of a tablespoon, featuring a deeply formed well to cradle liquids. Its tapered tip allows for precise pouring or basting, while the long handle is ideal for stirring a braise or a pot of beans, and nimble enough for saucing a plate. The thin, flared lip aids in scraping the corners of a pan or storage container. Inspired by the worn and tarnished steel often discovered at flea markets, the spoon is modeled after old American and European silhouettes, undergoing a tumbled and unpolished finish for a matte and imperfect look. Each piece is stamped and etched, then meticulously finished by hand on a lathe in Mr. Okada’s workshop in Niigata, Japan.
Comes in a nice black paper box.
