Bioplastic is made from sugarcane, a renewable resource. Bioethanol, a bio-based polymer, is extracted from the sugarcane. Through polymerization, natural molecules are bonded together into a strong material that acts as a binder for the sugarcane fibers. The result is a durable and eco-friendly product with a lower climate impact than traditional plastic.
