Nakayama natural stone for kasumi polishing that creates high contrast between jigane and hagane. This stone is large in surface area, but relatively thin. However, it will last a long time because wear is very slow.
The finish is silky matte on a kiridashi with an iron cladding, and the edge bite is really good.
