An oval ceramic honing rod with a generous 30 mm width! This honing rod is suitable for all metal knives, especially Japanese knives with thin and delicate blades.
The rod has shock-absorbing properties thanks to its metal core. It is not indestructible, but it will not snap like a solid ceramic rod. To further enhance durability, the tip has been fitted with a plastic cap. This honing rod can withstand heavy use!
The handle has a metal ring for convenient hanging.
