Ogata is a skilled knifemaker from Takefu in Fukui, Japan. He previously worked for several years as a sharpener for the renowned blacksmith Shiro Kamo before establishing his own workshop. His knives are characterized by thin blades, refined geometries, and excellent cutting performance.
