Kashima RS-60 is a series of knives with excellent properties, manufactured in the Japanese knife city of Seki City. The steel used in these knives is called PS-60, which is a stainless single steel hardened to 60 HRC. In other words, it is a hard steel that holds its edge well while being easy to sharpen. Thanks to its very thin blade, this knife cuts exceptionally well, and its soft forms make it comfortable to work with.

Rinse the blade especially thoroughly after contact with salty foods.

Leaving salt or moisture on the blade for extended periods.

Stainless steel is highly resistant to corrosion, but it is not completely rust-proof. Salt and moisture left on the blade can, over time, cause small rust spots or pitting.
