BSC-85

A new type of knife from Mac, featuring a Teflon coating on the blade. This prevents ingredients such as rice from sticking, and the knife glides easily through all foods. The blade is also very easy to keep clean!

The knife blade has an alloy of extra-hard steel including molybdenum, tungsten, and vanadium, making the edge exceptionally durable and rust-resistant, and the handle is made of wood.

Clean the knife after use.
Wash by hand using the soft side of a dish sponge and a little dishwashing liquid.
Rinse the blade especially thoroughly after contact with salty foods.

Avoid:

Dishwashers.
Leaving the knife in water.
Leaving salt or moisture on the blade for extended periods.

Stainless steel is highly resistant to corrosion, but it is not completely rust-proof. Salt and moisture left on the blade can, over time, cause small rust spots or pitting.
