Nakayama natural stone

Creamy smooth kasumi stone that is relatively hard.

Nakayama natural stone for kasumi sharpening. It provides good contrast between jigane and hagane, not mirror-polished but rather shades of light gray.
The feeling when sharpening reminds you of sharpening on hard butter. It is quiet, hard, and creamy smooth, and the finish is medium bright with high contrast and a silky finish. When we tested the stone on a kiridashi, we could press hard against the stone without it scratching. In other words, an excellent kasumi stone.

The structure of the cutting edge becomes shiny, but still retains its bite.
