Tsunehisa Pro Damascus is a very beautiful creation from Seki, Japan. The edge is thin and made of AUS-10 stainless steel, surrounded by 32 layers of nickel Damascus. The blade has been polished to a mirror finish to best reflect the beautiful pattern. The balance point is neutral and the bolster is cast in one piece to rest softly against the index finger. The pakka wood handle has a slightly wedge-shaped full tang, and the knife fits very nicely in the hand. It is a very comfortable knife that we highly recommend.

What differentiates this series from Tsunehisa Damascus?
The knives are very similar. The main difference lies in the choice of handle, where this series has a full tang while Tsunehisa Damascus has a partial tang to provide a more stable feel in the hand.

Rinse the blade especially thoroughly after contact with salty foods.
