Kashima RS-60 is a series of knives with truly excellent properties, manufactured in the Japanese knife city of Seki City. The knives fit comfortably in the hand thanks to their well-balanced design and the rounded handle made of mixed Pakkawood. The knife has just the right weight, with the balance point just in front of the bolster. The steel used in these knives is called RS-60, which is a stainless single steel hardened to 60 HRC. In other words, it is a very hard steel that holds its edge well while also being easy to sharpen. Thanks to its very thin blade, this knife cuts exceptionally well, while its soft curves make it pleasant to work with.
